and of old mates remembered.
At Dapto Leagues Club, sport runs deep in our veins. It’s in our past, our people, and our purpose. From the sidelines of footy fields to the dance floor at community halls, junior sport is where passion, teamwork and spirit take shape — and we’re here to cheer it on!
That’s why we’re proud to launch Hearts on the Field – Junior Club Sport Support, an initiative designed to champion the not-for-profit junior sporting clubs who bring heart to the Dapto Community.
From cricket and netball, to Little Athletics, soccer, swimming, dance, martial arts, hockey and AFL — if your club nurtures kids under 18, we want to hear your story.
Because it’s these clubs – built on volunteer hours, muddy boots and team spirit – that teach our youngest locals what it means to show up, dig deep and belong.

Who Can Apply?
Must be a not-for-profit sporting clubs in the Dapto 2530 postcode
Clubs must support players under the age of 18
Clubs that show true community spirit — on and off the field
How it works
A total of $7,000 in funding support will be awarded across selected finalists. Whether it helps with uniforms, gear, training or simply keeping the lights on — we want to help our local heroes thrive.
But it all starts with your nomination! Once all nominations are reviewed, a panel will select the finalists. Then, it’s over to our Members to decide.
Member Voting:
Once finalists are announced, every Dapto Leagues Club Member will get one vote to cast for their favourite junior club.
Voting will open online with live in-venue displays — so your story will be seen, shared and celebrated by the comunity.
This is your chance to shine a light on the clubs making a real difference — whether you’re a member, proud coach, committee member, parent or supporter, your vote could help secure much-needed support for a local club.
